DOHA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has visited the 12th edition of the Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition (QIAE) at Katara Cultural Village.
During the visit, His Highness the Amir was briefed in the exhibition halls and pavilions of participating countries and entities on the latest agricultural systems and innovative solutions to improve productivity, reduce water waste, and enhance innovation and sustainable development in the agricultural sector, which is considered one of the main pillars of comprehensive development in the country within the framework of Qatar National Vision 2030.
His Highness the Amir also visited the pavilion of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, the guest of honour of the current edition of the exhibition, where he was accompanied by a number of senior officials.
