Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Lieutenant General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen al Ghanem on Saturday inspected the Saqr 21 military exercise, being carried out by the Amiri Air Force. Ghanem communicated with all the air bases participating in the exercise through video conference, to ascertain the various stages of the exercise. He listened to a briefing by Acting Director of Operations and Training Brigadier General (Pilot) Saad Shaheen al Sarea al Kaabi, who is also the head of the Saqr 21 Evaluation Team; Deputy Head of Saqr 21 Evaluation Team Brigadier General Abdulaziz Ahmed al Zaman, and Acting Commander of Fighter Aircraft Brigadier General Khalid Nasser Hazaa al Shahwani. Saqr 21 is divided into two sections. The first is Command Battle Simulations (CBX) and the second is IFX. It began on April 23 and will go on until April 30, with participation from US Air Force, Turkish forces, the Ministry of Interior, Coast Guard, Amiri Naval Force and Joint Special Force. (QNA)
