The Westin Doha Hotel and Spa will offer a bespoke culinary experience for iftar and suhour during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The tent, which will be decorated in a magnificence theme from around the world, is brought to guests in partnership with Qatar Airways.
Inspired by the traditional Ramadan themes from countries around the world with an Arabesque twist, the spacious 2,100 square-metre tent is located within the Grand Ballroom of the hotel and accommodates up to 1,000 guests.
Special majlis will also be available for families and friends to dine in an intimate corner.
During the whole Month of Ramadan, guests can enjoy an abundant iftar and suhour buffet with a wide array of appetisers, soups and main courses of international and authentic Qatari dishes along with an variety of desserts. Additionally, the chefs will be demonstrating their expertise at more than 10 different live stations which will consist of a selection of daily grilles, shawarma, saj, manti, tandoori, sushi stations and many more.
Seasonal Tastes restaurant will be open for an exquisite iftar and suhoor under the stars with Arabic decoration, delectable food and desserts.
“For the fourth consecutive year, we are honoured to offer our guests a unique Ramadan journey through a culinary experience for both iftar and suhour. Our award-winning chefs will offer a variety of authentic and innovative international dishes,” said Gianrico Esposito, general manager of The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa.
He added, “Our events team can personalise corporate bookings up to 500 guests for both iftar and suhour, and groups can choose from a variety of menu options or even customise the menu to fit their requirements. In addition, The Westin Lifestyle catering team will provide guests with private iftar and suhour at the comfort of their home.”
This year, Sabai Thai restaurant will open daily from sunset until nidnight and guests can enjoy mouth-watering Asian cusine in a pleasant ambiance all month long.
Heavenly Spa by Westin is also offering a summer package to maximise the workout routine during the Holy Month of Ramadan with a special one-month membership that includes full access to the gym and pool facilities along with one service of the guest’s choice such as a manicure or a pedicure or two classes from the WestinWORKOUT for QR1,000.
The Spa will open from 7am until 11pm.
Iftar will start from sunset until 8:30pm and suhour will be served from 9:30pm until 1:30am. The price for iftar and suhour buffet at the tent is QR220 per person and QR169 at Seasonal Tastes, complimentary for kids under six years old and 50 percent savings for kids aged between six to 12 years old.
