Kahramaa signs contracts for network upgradation, facility expansion

Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has signed two separate contracts with CEGELEC Qatar WLL and Grid Solutions SAS for upgradation of Kahramaa’s Telecommunication networks and National Control Centre (NCC) and Distribution Control Centers (DCC) modifications and expansions with a total value of QR157.6 million. The contract for Telecommunication networks’ upgradation worth QR 95.6 million was signed by Kahramaa President Eng Essa bin Hilal al Kuwari, and the General Manager of CEGELEC Qatar, a member of VINCI Energies Group, Mathieu Guillerey.
