DPS-Modern Indian School (DPS-MIS) organised an investiture ceremony to induct the junior wing of its prefectorial body of 2019-20.
Seventy students, along with head boy Aaryan Sujith and head girl Ziya Fathima Rasikhad, have been sworn in. They pledged to preserve the pride of the school and abide by its motto “service before self”.
Kausar Hassan, Council Member of DPS-MIS and Managing Director of Success Group, was the chief guest and Asma Yasir Nainar, Council Member of Kangaroo Kids, Principal of BHIS Chennai and Joint Managing Trustee of Rayyan Educational Trust, was the guest of honour at the event.
DPS-MIS Principal Asna Nafees congratulated the prefects and said it was a moment of pride for the school. She urged the students to uphold the strong value system of the school and keep the school flag fluttering high with dignity, respect and integrity.
Asma Yasir Nainar also congratulated the newly elected office-bearers and advised them to manifest the best leadership skills and discharge their duties with commitment and competence.
