Qatar Fuel (Woqod) has opened the expanded area of Wadi Al Banat petrol station, the company announced in a statement on Monday.
After expansion, the fuel station is now spread over an area of 12,650 square meters, and has new two lanes with six dispensers additional to the existing six dispensers within three lanes, which will serve Wadi Al Banat and its neighbourhood.
Woqod CEO Saad Rashid al Muhannadi said, “We are pleased to open the expanded part of the petrol station in Wadi Al Banat. Woqod aspires to expand its petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products and achieve the goal of providing customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort.
“The company has recently accelerated the process for the construction of new petrol stations to meet the fuel and energy needs of the country.”
He added, “Woqod team would like to extend their gratitude to all concerned governmental and private entities that contributed to the completion of this project.”
The petrol station offer round-the-clock services to residents and include Sidra convenience store, manual and auto car wash, oil change, tyre repair, sale of LPG cylinders, in addition to the sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles. Muhannadi said the opening of expanded area of Wadi Al Banat petrol station is included in Woqod’s plans for the operation of 30 new petrol stations in 2019.
