The Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced on Thursday the official working hours for its departments that provide services to the public during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement, the MoI clarified that the General Directorate of Passports and its affiliated departments, as well as the Department of Nationality and Travel Documents, will operate from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The Technical Inspection Departments will be open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, while the Driver’s License Department at driving schools will operate from 6:00 am to 11:00 am. The Vehicle Number Plate Workshop in Ain Khaled will be open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Workshops for number plate manufacturing in Al-Aqda, Al-Wakra, and Al-Mazroua will operate from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Vehicle Registration Counter at the main traffic building will be open from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, while the General Counter will operate from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Violations Counter will also work from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Ministry also highlighted that the External Services Department’s main branch in Al-Mamoura will operate from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, while other branches of the External Services Department will operate from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The Criminal Evidence and Information Department will be open from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, while security-related departments that operate on a shift basis will continue to provide services 24 hours a day.
