Ideal Indian School (IIS) has honoured students who performed well in the Qur’an memorisation competition organised by the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs recently.
In the competition, IIS had stood first among all Indian schools in Qatar and emerged as the second best among all competed schools in the country.
As many as 388 students from various classes took part in the competition.
Principal Syed Shoukath Ali distributed the certificates to the winners. He congratulated the students and the teachers, especially those of the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies, who helped the school achieve the distinction.
