DPS Modern Indian School (DPS-MIS) debaters showcased their resounding skills at all four national debate championships of the season 2018-19.
DPS-MIS debaters won three championship trophies and one runner-up position.
DPS senior boys bagged the Qatar School Debate National Championship 2019 along with League Championship at the College of Islamic Studies.
DPS students Farhan Sakkir emerged as the grand finals best speaker and the best speaker in league, while Fahad Ahmad Khan came second in the league and Shivom Dhamija emerged as the 10th best speaker in the league.
DPS senior girls emerged as the Qatar School Debate National Championship 2019 runner up at the College of Islamic Studies.
Nakshtra Gayan emerged as the grand finals best speaker and best speaker in the league, while Kirti Mishra came second best speaker, Vaishnavi Chettiar won fourth best speaker and Arya Kanade came in the ninth position.
On their part, DPS junior boys emerged as the winner of the Qatar Preparatory School Debate National Champion 2019 at De Bakey High School. The boys won six top speakers’ awards out of 10 awards in the individual category.
Vidit Dalal emerged as the best speaker in Grand Final and 6 top speakers’ awards in individual category among 10.
DPS junior girls lifted the runner-up trophy at Amna Bint Waheb Preparatory School for Girls. They bagged seven top speakers’ awards out of 10.
