The Middle East International School (MIS) celebrated the graduation of its Class of 2019 recently. After completing the requirements of the American curriculum, the 51 seniors will now continue their studies at universities across the world, including in the US, Austria, South Africa, Spain, Hungary, the UK, the Netherlands, Canada, Qatar, Malaysia, France and the Philippines. The MIS, which is accredited by QNSA and AdvancED, has been serving Qatar for the last 25 years. Head of School Dr Susan Borden and High School Principal Dr Reena Rajesh introduced the class to the school’s Founder and Chairman Salem Rashid al Mohanadi. The ceremony also recognised the guest of honour Dr Mounir Hamdi, dean of the College of Science and Engineering Technology, and six students who have been a part of the MIS since the kindergarten level.
