Kenyan Ambassador to Qatar H.E. Paddy C Ahenda has called upon Kenyan expatriates to engage in business opportunities in Qatar.
Speaking on the sidelines of a dinner organised at the popular Al Zanj Restaurant, which is owned by a Kenyan, the envoy said Kenyans should consider entrepreneurship during their residency in Qatar. "Kenyans are a very enterprising people and I am happy to see a Kenyan owning a restaurant here. I urge other Kenyans to follow the example of Mr Feisal (the owner of Al Zanj Restaurant) to be involved in businesses in all sectors of Qatar’s economy.”
The ambassador further said, "I would like to encourage Kenyans to join hands and do business together. It should not only be wishing for Qataris to invest in Kenya but also Kenyans to come and invest in Qatar. There are plentiful opportunities here in Qatar to start businesses.”
