St Regis Doha has topped off a stellar year winning two more globally recognised industry awards at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards 2016 and the World Travel Awards 2016. The news comes hot on the heels of St Regis Doha winning the 'GCC Hotel of the Year' award at the 2016 Food and Travel GCC Awards in Bahrain, with the luxury hotel currently boasting 13 award wins in 2016.
At the World Travel Awards 2016 held in Peru in July, Astor Grill, the famed grill and steakhouse was awarded Qatar's Best Restaurant. Meanwhile, earlier in the year at The World Luxury Restaurant Awards 2016, held in Switzerland in June, St Regis Doha contested against 38 other hotels with Rem'e8de Spa winning Qatar's Best Spa Award. St Regis Doha's Rem'e8de Spa is most visited for its 22 private treatment rooms, complete with the best quality products along with a recreation centre that features state-of-the-art equipment and highly qualified personal trainers.
These recent accolades are a proud addition to St. Regis Doha's successful year, which has already won five Time Out Doha awards, three Fact Magazine Awards and three Food and Travel GCC Awards in 2016 for a number of its renowned restaurants and lounges.
Among the awards won by St Regis Doha at the Time Out Doha Awards 2016 were Opal by Gordon Ramsay and St Regis Grand Brunch winning the Highly Commended Awards. Hakkasan Restaurant won two awards under the Best Chinese and Best Restaurant Category.
The Fact Magazine Awards 2016 saw Al Sultan Brahim, Sarab Lounge and Hakkasan Restaurant emerge as winners under the Best Lebanese Restaurant, Best Afternoon Tea and Best Chinese Restaurant categories respectively.
At the Food and Travel GCC Awards 2016, Gordon Ramsay won the title of the Best Mediterranean Restaurant while Hakkasan once again bagged the Best Chinese Restaurant title, before St Regis Doha emerged as the triumphant winner of the prestigious Best Hotel of the Year 2016 Award.
