As per the directive of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamin bin Hamad Al Thani, Qatar provided an aid package to Pakistan to counter the calamitous floods that killed more than 1,000 people and affected 33 million so far. The first batch of Qatar’s relief materials comprising 21,000 food baskets, supplies for 5,000 tents and 5,000 personal hygiene kits, is expected to benefit 35,000 individuals. — TNN
