Tribune News NetworkDohaContinuing their history of excellence, students of Pakistan International School Qatar (PISQ) showed outstanding performance by recording 100 percent pass in the Cambridge IGCSE exams. A total of 58 students of PISQ sat for IGCSE exams in CAIE May/June 2022 series, of whom 35 secured A* and A’s in multiple subjects, comprising 60 percent of the total number of students.Students of IG-II (Year 10) and IG-III (Year 11) sat in their CAIE examination which commenced on April 25, 2022 for various subjects, including English, Mathematics, Islamiyat, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science among others. In IG-III, Khadija Yousaf and Noura Muhammad stood at the top with 7A*; Hakeemat Opeyemi, Rumaisa Attique and Omer Said scored 6A*; Maheen Rahat grabbed 5A* while Ayoyinka Halimat succeeded in getting 4A*. This year, students of IG-II also took their first CAIE examination for English, Islamiyat and Global Perspectives. Sojoud Hamid, Momina Moazzam, Huda Nasir and Haiqa Anwar got 3A*, securing the top position while Aayan Zeb, Aisha Amir, Fatima Javed, Rida Fatima and Arsha Fatima succeeded in scoring 2A* each. PISQ Principal Nargis Otho congratulated the students, parents and teachers on this remarkable achievement. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar HE Syed Ahsan Raza Shah expressed satisfaction over the results and urged the students to keep putting in the best of their efforts to continue their journey towards success.
