The Indian Cultural Centre (ICC), under the aegis of the Embassy of India in Qatar, has announced the much-awaited ICC Carnival – Celebrate India Together!, a spectacular cultural celebration aimed at uniting the Indian community in Qatar through a vibrant display of art, tradition, and togetherness.

The first meeting to initiate the planning process will take place today, April 21, at 7:00 PM at the ICC Ashoka Hall in Doha. This gathering will serve as the foundation for forming various subcommittees responsible for cultural programmes, logistics, hospitality, media outreach, sponsorships, and volunteer coordination.

The ICC Carnival, to be held in May,is expected to feature a lively showcase of Indian folk dances, music performances, traditional arts and crafts, regional cuisine, and interactive activities for all age groups. The aim is to present a colourful and diverse representation of India’s cultural richness, while also strengthening bonds within the community.

The ICC is inviting individuals with a passion for culture and community service to actively contribute to the event’s success. Whether through coordination, creativity, or support services, everyone will have a role to play in making this carnival a memorable celebration.
