The first edition of the Beach Sports Festival 2025 has officially kicked off, hosted by Aspire Zone Foundation at the sand court at Aspire Park (April 20-26). The festival is organized in partnership with the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Qatar Sports for All Federation.
The festival’s opening day witnessed an impressive crowd, highlighted by a vibrant opening ceremony that featured the introduction of the sporting events and a welcome speech expressing gratitude and appreciation to all supporters and participants of this sporting occasion
The festival takes place daily from 4pm to 9pm and includes three main beach sports:
Beach Football, under the supervision of the Qatar Football Association
Beach Volleyball, under the supervision of the Qatar Volleyball Association
Beach Tennis, under the supervision of the Qatar Tennis and Squash Federation
The competitions feature male athletes (18 years and above), under the supervision of the respective sports federations, competing for valuable prizes dedicated by the foundation for the winners of the top positions.
All matches are held at the sand court in Aspire Park, which is considered one of the top beach sports venues in the region. It has previously hosted the Queen & King of the Court Beach Volleyball Finals and the Beach Volleyball World Tour Finals. The court accommodates up to 600 spectators and includes three sub-courts, each measuring 50 metres by 30 metres.
