THE Indian Institute of Quantity Surveyors - Qatar Chapter (IIQS-Qatar) held its seventh Continuing Professional Development (CPD) event at Concorde Hotel recently in which around 50 members and guests took part.
IIQS-Qatar is associated with Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC) which works under the aegis of the Indian embassy in Qatar.
Hari Krishna, principal consultant, Masin Qatar, delivered a lecture for two hours on the topic ‘Engineering & Construction Claims and Delay Analysis’ which was followed by an interactive question and answer session.
The lecture comprehensively covered the types of claims and delay analysis methodologies available in construction industry.
Later, Krishna was felicitated by IIQS-Qatar President Anshul Gupta and Vice-President Sudheer Edamana.
Sunil Kamalaksha (IIQS-Sports and Recreation Committee member) welcomed the attendees and conducted the event.
Anshul Gupta delivered the vote of thanks.
Meanwhile, IIQS-Qatar is planning to conduct the APC workshops for the aspirants to achieve chartered membership from RICS-UK.
