Vodafone Qatar on Monday announced that its 5G network now covers 70 percent of Doha including key locations across the country.
“The roll-out continues to expand and we are expected to cover entire Qatar with our 5G network before the start of the 2022 Fifa World Cup. This will undoubtedly place Qatar among the ranks of the world’s most connected countries,” Vodafone Qatar Chief Executive Officer Sheikh Hamad Abdulla al Thani said.
Vodafone Qatar Brand Ambassador Mohammed Saadon al Kuwari unveiled the company’s new 5G coverage map. Vodafone Qatar’s 5G network is live in Al Rayyan, Al Aziziya, Al Hilal, Al Gharaffa, Al Sadd, Al Wakrah, Abu Hamour, Nuaija, Education City, Khartiyat, Mamoura, Msheireb, Old Airport, The Pearl, Thumama, Umm Salal and West Bay among other areas.
