The Ministry of Labour (MoL) has launched another set of e-services on its digital platform. The latest package included two e-services requesting a secondment work permit and renewing a secondment work permit. The e-service for requesting a secondment work permit has been launched to allow any employee, already registered with an establishment, to obtain a secondment work permit to work part-time or full-time with a temporary employer while staying with their current employer. After the approval of the current employer, a secondment of the employee is issued by the Ministry of Labour electronically. The Renewing a secondment work permit e-service allows for the renewal of existing secondment work permits for an additional period and together with the Request for secondment work permit e-service, the process of requesting and renewing secondment work permits becomes a fully digital. There are terms of conditions for the secondment services.
