Attorney-General of Qatar HE Dr Ali bin Fetais al Marri met with Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Yuri Fedotov in Vienna on Wednesday.
The meeting, which was attended by Permanent Representative of Qatar to the UN Organizations in Vienna HE Sultan bin Salmeen al Mansouri, discussed the means of promoting cooperation between Qatar and the UN Office in combating corruption.
The Attorney-General underlined Qatar’s commitment to combating corruption and money laundering and strengthening criminal justice systems worldwide.
For his part, Fedotov expressed the UN appreciation for Qatar’s generous contributions in support of the projects undertaken by the United Nations Office, especially in the areas of combating crime and corruption in all its forms, thus contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations.
The Attorney-General also met with Assistant Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime John Brandolino.
The meeting discussed joint projects between the two sides.
