Qatar National Bank (QNB) has been honoured as the “Best Investment Bank in Qatar” by Global Finance magazine as part of the “World’s Best Investment Banks 2019 Awards,” the bank announced in a statement on Monday.
QNB received the award during a ceremony held recently in Washington, on the sidelines of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank annual meetings.
The bank was selected by Global Finance’s editors with the input of industry experts using criteria ranging from market share to number and size of deals, service and advice, structuring capabilities, distribution network, efforts to address market conditions, innovation, pricing, after-market performance of underwritings, and market reputation. The award is a new addition to QNB’s numerous awards and international recognitions that acknowledge the excellence of the bank’s products and services, as well as its success in maintaining and strengthening its market position.
