Minister of Education and Higher Education HE Dr Mohammed bin Abdul Wahed al Hammadi praised the speech delivered by HH the Amir at the 48th session of the Shura Council, describing it as comprehensive and inspiring with presenting a roadmap for the country’s sustainable development.
In a press statement, the minister praised the Amir’s speech on the continued attention and focus on priority sectors, especially education and health, and investment in infrastructure, noting the quality initiatives, projects and policies adopted by the State to overcome the negative effects of the blockade and to move steadily towards achieving the objectives of the Qatar National Vision 2030.
Dr Hammadi said HH the Amir’s speech included very important educational guidelines related to human building and development. In addition, HH the Amir stressed that man is the pillar of any renaissance, and that urbanism is measured not only by buildings and facilities, but by the ability of humans to plan, build and maintain them, the schools that teach them, the universities that graduate them, the quality of education, culture and values prevailing, and morality, he said.
The minister confirmed his ministry’s determination to continue the march and work to overcome all the challenges facing human development, and enhance the areas of quality in education to reach quality outputs that contribute to the achievement of Qatar National Vision 2030. (QNA)
