Tribune News NetworkDoha Minister of Finance HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari headed the delegation of Qatar at the 110th Session of the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League at the Arab League General Secretariats headquarters in Cairo, headed by Morocco.The draft agenda of the Council includes several important articles, including the Follow-up on the implementation of the decisions of the session (109), follow-up the implementation of the decisions of the 4th session of the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit in Beirut in January 2019. The draft agenda also includes an article on the Greater Arab Free Trade Area, the developments of the Customs Union, the mechanism of work of the committees concerned with Arab economic integration, investment in Arab countries.The preparatory meetings for this session concluded with a meeting at the level of senior officials, in which the State of Qatar participated with a delegation from the Ministry of Finance. It was preceded by two separate meetings of the Economic and Social Committees of the Council.
