The management of La Cigale Hotel has honoured 163 devoted employees for their outstanding performance and services in the hospitality industry as part of its Employee Recognition Programme.
The Annual Employee Recognition ceremony was held at Al Wajba Ballroom in the presence of chairman Victor Agha and heads of Departments.
Khaled El Chaar, director of Human Resources, said during the ceremony that La Cigale Hotel is proud to gather more than 930 committed employees, who were able to put in remarkable efforts; willingness and consistency to contribute to the hotel’s continuous achievements.
"We are very pleased to announce the Employee of the Year 2018 – Front of the House and Back of the House and we would like to congratulate Hakima Yetaiemi, Shift Leader – Chocolate, from the Food and Beverage/Traiteur and Salem Belaid, 1st Commis from the Food and Beverage/Pastry for their loyalty, dedication and exemplary performance.
During the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were distributed to employees who have scored 100% in the Perfect Shop Call and Perfect On-Site Mystery Visits who were trained and assessed based on international standards. The Service Award Certificates were presented to those who have completed five and 10 years of continuous, loyal and conscientious service.
The Employee Recognition Day has become an essential celebration at La Cigale Hotel that takes place every year to recognise and motivate the employees for future career development.
