Silvana Lopez Moreira, the First Lady of Paraguay, has said she is very much confident of a better future of the world as long as personalities like Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser are serving the humanity worldwide, especially in the areas of educating underprivileged children and empowering women.
“Qatar and Paraguay enjoy close relations and we hope that the relations between our two countries will further strengthen on my visit,” she said.
Talking exclusively to Qatar Tribune, the First Lady of Paraguay lauded the inspiring and impressive works of the Education Above All, chaired by HH Sheikha Moza.
“It is a great honour for me to be invited by Her Highness to speak at the World Innovation Summit for Education,” she said.
It was also an opportunity for her to brief HH Sheikha Moza on her works in areas of empowering women and services towards the underprivileged children of Paraguay, she added.
She thanked HH Sheikha Moza for the generous support to her office as First Lady of Paraguay for her efforts to empowering youth and women of Paraguay. “It will be a great support in completing some of the projects that are in the pipeline,” she noted.
On Qatar hosting 2022 FIFA World Cup, she said, “We fully support Qatar for hosting this great sport. I’ll be coming back to watch the 2022 World Cup.”
