THE Bangladesh MHM School & College, under the directive of Bangladeshi government, held the Free Book Distribution Ceremony-2020 on its premises on Wednesday.
The Ambassador of Bangladesh to Qatar and Chairman of the institution HE Ashud Ahmed inaugurated the function. Director of the school Lt Cdr Anwar Khurshid, Principal Md Jashim Uddin, Bangladesh Embassy officials, school faculties, students and parents attended the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashud Ahmed said that students should work hard to realise the dream of the Father of the Nation of Bangladesh Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Khurshid appreciated the initiative of the Bangladesh government to distribute books to the students on the first day of the year and expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The principal thanked the guests for joining the function, seeking further cooperation in future.
Meanwhile, the students were happy to receive the books from the chief guest. The programme was conducted by Vice-Principal Zulfiker Azad.
