The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will implement a 10-hour closure on parts of Bani Hajer Interchange from Thursday, February 20 midnight until 10am on Friday to facilitate completion of the asphalt works as part of Khalifa Avenue Project.
During this traffic change, which is designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, the bridge linking Doha with Al Rayyan through Al Luqta Street will be closed and road users on Al Luqta Street will have to continue towards Al Wajba Interchange, make a U-turn and then take the second right exit towards Al Rayyan.
Besides, Bani Hajer Underpass leading to Doha and Al Rayyan will be closed for the traffic coming from Bani Hajer through Al Shahama Street and road users will have to take the exit towards Al Wajba Interchange, make a U-turn and follow the signs towards their destinations.
The Public Works Authority will instal road signs to guide motorists about the closure.
