A delegation from the Supreme Judiciary Council (SJC), headed by Deputy President of the Court of Cassation Judge Abdulaziz Ali al Abdullah, is visiting the Sultanate of Oman within the framework of exchanging experiences and expertise in the field of judiciary.
The delegation met, as part of the five-day visit, with the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of Sultanate of Oman Khalifa bin Said al Busaidi. They reviewed enhancing and developing cooperation in the legal and judiciary field.
They also discussed the prospects of cooperation and joint programmes in Qatar and Oman to enhance judicial competencies and develop services.
Busaidi stressed the importance of the Qatari delegation’s visit in enhancing cooperation relations between the two countries.
Through the exchange of visits, the SJC aims to learn from the experiences of other countries and judicial institutions at regional and international levels and to present the council’s experience in this framework.
