The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani on Sunday received a verbal message from Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau. The message pertains to bilateral relations and the ways of enhancing them. The Canada PM’s Special Envoy Joe Clark conveyed the message during a meeting with Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al Thani. During the meeting, friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries as well as aspects of their development and promotion were reviewed, in addition to discussing a number of issues of mutual interest.
