The Qatar Gymastics Federation successfully hosted the Gymnastics Club Championship, which was held for the first time in Qatar, with the participation of clubs from Iraq, Oman, and Qatar. As many as 83 gymnasts from Qatar Academic Club, Qatar Club, Victoria Club, Khawla Club, Maysan Club, Baghdad Club and Muscat Club competed in individual apparatus of floor exercise, pommel horse, parallel bars and rings.
The event was attended by Ali al Hitmi, President of the QGF, and heads of the clubs of Iraq and Oman.
Hitmi thanked the heads of the delegations. He also thanked championship committees’ members, in particular Samira Saeed, the administrative director of the tournament, Mazen Taha, technical director of the tournament and competition managers Captain Muhammad al Dulaimi and Captain Mohsen Talaat for their efforts.
