Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Center), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, recently held a series of educational workshops as a part of the Foundation Programme for 2020 aimed at helping participants with the most important steps to start their own projects.
During the four days of several workshops, with a rate of three hours daily, participants of the Foundation Programme were able to learn about the most important steps that would enable them to implement their projects.
During the workshops, entrepreneurship consultants from Bedaya Center shared knowledge regarding all the needed procedures to establish commercial projects, starting from step by step of how to prepare the feasibility study, explained some of the business models that entrepreneurs can follow, the best ways to market their products and services through social media and how to reach to the widest segments of society, in addition to preparing financial reports based on the simplest calculation methods.
Hanane Ibrahim, Business Development Manager at Bedaya Center said, “The workshops are part of the first series related to the Foundation Programme for the year 2020. During the past two years, we offered similar workshops to enrich and enhance the capabilities of the participants and provide them with the needed tools and guidance necessary for them to achieve their goals and objectives.
“The previous workshops have been very useful in informing the upcoming entrepreneurs regarding the most important steps to be followed to ensure a clear vision on the needed requirements to ensure the success of their projects irrespective of its nature.”
She added, “This initiative comes within Bedaya Center’s development plan and adopted approach, as we always strive to provide Qatari youth with favourable opportunities through educational programmes and workshops that we offer to provide the best opportunities for them to attain success in their chosen fields.”
