The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will temporarily close for five hours the access to Gharrafat Al Rayyan Street from and to Gharrafat Al Rayyan Interchange from 4am to 9am on Friday, March 20, to facilitate the gantries installation as part of Khalifa Avenue Project.
The closure will be implemented in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
Road users heading towards or coming from Gharrafat Al Rayyan through Gharrafat Al Rayyan Interchange will have to use Bani Hajer Interchange, Al Shahama Street and local roads to reach their destinations.
The Public Works Authority will instal road signs to guide motorists of the closure. Ashghal is requesting all road users to abide by the existing speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
