On the directives of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza, in cooperation with the Qatar Fund for Development, has begun providing assistance to hundreds of people at the quarantine centres in the Gaza Strip.
Chairman of the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza, HE Ambassador Mohammed al Emadi, said this assistance comes within the $150 million financial grant announced by the Amir to the Gaza Strip over a period of six months. Emadi said the support provided to the different quarantine facilities in Gaza includes food, basic electronic products, furniture, as well as the fuel required to supply electricity to those centres.
