President of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed al Thani has sent a message of solidarity to the international family in light of these exceptional circumstances that global football is going through in the face of the pandemic of the coronavirus.
QFA gesture comes within the framework of the distinguished relations that bind it with the global football family, as well as the strengthening of joint work between QFA and all continental federations, with which the supreme message that football carries at this time is reflected in solidarity and joint action among all members of the football family in the world.
The QFA president sent messages of solidarity to the FIFA President Gianni Infantino, President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim al Khalifa, President of the European Union of Football Association (UEFA) Aleksander Ceferin, President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Ahmad Ahmad, President of CONCACAF Victor Montagliani, President of the Confederation Federation A. Domingo, and to President of the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Lambert Maltock.
In his messages, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed al Thani affirmed the cooperation, solidarity and joint work between QFA and all continental federations in these difficult days in the world, especially that all are in same boat in the face of the coronavirus, expressing confidence in the safety measures taken by the football family to face this pandemic. He wished for the return of football life as it was, and the return of tournaments and football matches in all competitions in the countries of the world.
He concluded his message with hoping that all we will emerge from this crisis stronger than ever, considering that solidarity and flexibility are the two main pillars of success to overcome this crisis.
