Kabul At least 11 Afghan security force members were killed in two provinces in night-time Taliban attacks, as a European Union delegation in Afghanistan was pushing for leaders to put an end to their political rivalries.
At least nine Afghan soldiers were killed on Wednesday night in an attack in south-western Logar province, the Afghan Ministry of Defence said in a tweet on Thursday. Afghan forces repelled the Taliban attack in the district, causing a high number of casualties on the Taliban side, the ministry said. The militant group has not yet commented on the incident. (DPA)
