Qatar has condemned the explosion that targeted a gathering to celebrate Eid Al Fitr, north of Baidoa in southern Somalia, killing and injuring many people. In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the motives and causes. The statement offered Qatar’s condolence to the victims’ families and to the government and people of Somalia, wishing the injured a speedy recovery. (QNA)
