Lusail QNB Metro Station receives record 97,000 passengers in a single day

Lusail QNB Metro Station has set a new record for the total number of passengers handled in one day at a single station on the Doha Metro, Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) has announced. In a tweet on Saturday, Qatar Rail said over 97,000 passengers, the highest so far in the history of the Doha metro, were handled by the station on Friday. “It’s a new record! Lusail QNB Station has set a new track record with 97,000 passengers in one day. The number was recorded on the day of the Lusail Super Cup match, which brought together Al-Hilal and Zamalek teams,” Qatar Rail said in a tweet. (TNN)
