The session, which aimed at providing a detailed view of various types of assessments during virtual classes, commenced with appreciating all the teachers around the globe for their untiring efforts to make online learning interesting and fruitful.
Resource person Asllesha Thakur, CEO of Lead Innovations, explained the basics of assessment; assessment models for online teaching and Ed tech tools for formative assessments; pre-primary assessments; and evaluation of authentic learning such as project-based learning and webquests to foster students’ excitement, engagement and lifelong learning.
Thakur introduced the attendees to Ed tech tools like MS forms, google forms, Quizziz.com, Kahoot, Kaizena, Class Dojo, Edpuzzle, Edulastic, etc. for online formative assessments.
