Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has prepared a list of projects in which the private sector can participate within the requirements of the PPP law, Ashghal President Saad bin Ahmad Al Muhannadi said. Speaking during the PPP conference, Muhannadi said these projects are mainly related to the construction and infrastructure sector.
Ashghal has started to tender for some projects especially the construction and sewage treatment projects, Muhannadi said adding that other projects are under study and will be introduced after completing feasibility studies.
"Ashghal is part of the implementation of the partnership between the two sectors in line with Qatar National Vision 2030,” he said.
