Tribune News NetworkDohaThe students of Pakistan International School Qatar (PISQ) have made their alma mater proud by grabbing top 16 positions in all Federal Board-affiliated institutions in Doha in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC-II) Annual Examination 2022 of the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad. Leading Doha-based Pakistani schools have once again come up with top performance with 10 students of PISQ crossing the 1,000-mark threshold. This year, a total of 164 students appeared in the HSSC-II examination out of which 163 passed with 99.39 percent result. The school made an impressive show of academic excellence with 49 ‘A1’, 45 ‘A’ and 49 ‘B’ grades.In the Pre-Medical group, Shermin Bukhari stood first with 1,046 marks out of 1,100 marks, Aljohera Abeer secured second position with 1,044 marks and Hasan Shahid got third position with 1,032 marks in the school as well as in all Doha-based Pakistani schools.Hafsa Siddiqui secured first position with 999 marks in the Pre-Engineering group, Bashayer Hussain stood second with 884 marks while Sadganj Ali secured third position with 827 marks in the Pre-Engineering group. In the Science General group, Mustafa Lal Sahib Khan stood first with 969 marks, Afaq Gul secured second position with 912 marks and Farid Abdullah secured third position with 894 marks in the school. In the Commerce Group, Maha Imran grabbed first position with 939 marks; Saima Saifoor Khan got second position with 932 marks while Suneeda Mohammad Karim achieved third position in the school with 919 marks. In the Humanities group, Amina Sher Bahadar, Naima Farooq and Musfira Ubaid Ullah secured first, second and third positions by obtaining 895, 894 and 882 marks respectively.PISQ Principal Nargis Raza Otho congratulated the students, parents and teachers for the excellent results of HSSC-II Annual 2022 Examination. She appreciated the efforts of students and teachers in maintaining excellent results.Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar HE Syed Ahsan Raza Shah congratulated the school principal, teachers, students and their parents on the brilliant performance of the students in the Federal Board Examinations. He commended the students and teachers for showing outstanding performance in the HSSC examination.
