Bayern coach Nagelsmann relishing Lewandowski reunion, Barca test

dpaMunich Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann is looking forward to a quick reunion with former striker Robert Lewandowski and also a strong Champions League test against his new club Barcelona on Tuesday."I will be happy if our fans give him a good reception,” Nagelsmann told reporters on Monday. "That would be normal, when someone has done so much for the club."He was an important part of the Bayern family. I am looking forward to seeing him again.” The Polish star had a trophy and record laden eight years in Munich before a long summer transfer saga ended with his move to Barcelona.While Bayern have stumbled with three consecutive Bundesliga draws around their 2-0 opening Champions League game at Inter Milan, Barcelona have impressed after a summer rebuild.Lewandowski in contrast has not lost his scoring touch from his time with Bayern having scored six times for Barcelona domestically along with claiming a hat-trick in the 5-1 rout of Viktoria Plzen last mid-week."It is not a decisive game, but it is a nice test of where we are against a team that has improved a lot,” Nagelsmann said. "We want to win the home game.” Nagelsmann had a full squad available for training on Monday with the exception of injured winger Kingsley Coman who has a thigh injury.Bayern have been rotating his starting eleven in recent matches and Nagelsmann confirmed Lucas Hernández would start at the back and will join Joshua Kimmich in midfield.
