The Ministry of Justice has finalised the procedures for migration of its official website into the Microsoft cloud as part of its plan for digital transformation and in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT).The MCIT recently launched the first large-scale cloud data centre region in Qatar in partnership with Microsoft Corporation to join the largest cloud infrastructure in the world, which enhances the competitive ability of Qatar at the regional and global levels, in conformity with Qatar National Vision 2030 that consolidates the pioneering status of Qatar in the process of digital transformation.Director of the Information Systems Department at the Ministry of Justice Hessa Al Sulaiti said that the step of moving the ministry’s official website into the Microsoft cloud came in the implementation of directives of Minister of Justice HE Masoud bin Mohammed Al Amri to accelerate the ministry’s procedures of digital transformation in line with the requirements of the digital strategy of the government of Qatar and Qatar National Vision 2030 that primarily target the maximisation of knowledge and promoting the legal culture for the benefit of the state and development of the community.
