Ideal Indian School (IIS) celebrated the 74th Independence Day of India with patriotic fervour.
IIS Principal Syed Shoukath Ali hoisted the Indian flag amidst singing of the national anthem.
Speaking on the occasion, Ali urged everyone to imbibe patriotic feelings and be truthful and devoted to the cause of national integration.
“It is a time to recall with gratitude the sacrifices of our freedom fighters who gave us a country where our dignity and individual freedom are guaranteed by an enlightened Constitution,” he added.
The ceremony was attended by the school administrative and other non-teaching Staff. All coronavirus (COVID-19) safety protocols were followed during the ceremony, including social distancing and wearing of masks.
