The 74th Independence Day of India was celebrated at Doha Modern Indian School (DMIS) with great enthusiasm and solemnity, with COVID-19 protocols and guidelines in place. Chief Guest Jayashankar M Pillai, director of Taleb Schools, unfurled the tricolour.
Sabu Thomas, academic auditor, Taleb Schools; Jacob Mathew, principal of activities, Taleb Schools; Ritula Singh, principal of The Cambridge School; Vinod Kumar Bhatia, principal of Cambridge International School; Seema Arun, principal of Alpha Cambridge School; and Suja Sivadas, principal-in-charge of Beta Cambridge School graced the occasion.
Principal of DMIS Padmini Venkatesh welcomed the chief guest and other invitees to the event. The chief guest in his message exhorted everyone to uphold the great values of the nation and work diligently for the growth and development of the country. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Assistant Principal Ursula Sabu.
