Chairman of Qatar’s Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza Ambassador HE Mohammed Al Emadi has stressed that Qatar is making intensive efforts to contain the escalation in the Gaza Strip.
He said Qatar is continuing its efforts to alleviate the humanitarian sufferings of the residents of the Gaza Strip.
“Intensive Qatari contacts have been made over the past few hours and are continuing at the highest levels with all parties to contain the escalation and spare the population of the Gaza Strip further crises,” Al Emadi said.
The envoy stressed that Qatar has been and will continue to support the Palestinian people at all levels to alleviate their sufferings.
He urged the international community, the United Nations and all relevant international organisations to fulfil their commitments towards providing the necessary support to the residents of the Gaza Strip to mitigate the humanitarian crisis just as Qatar has committed to its pledges.
