The “Netwasal” Intranet which was recently launched by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) will lend support to enhance internal communication among the ministry’s employees at all levels.
The network aims to improve the communication process within the MoPH and to coordinate between its various departments and sections using the latest technologies as per international standards, with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of administrative work, improving mechanisms for sharing resources and information, and benefiting from joint computing techniques.
The network features “Our Community” which hosts an interaction space, employees’ directory, employee of the month, and new employees, as well as commercial offers for MoPH employees, a space for opinion sharing, training courses, meeting management and correspondence.
Director of the Office of the Minister of Public Health, Mohamed Mubarak Al Nuaimi said that the “Netwasal” Intranet was an excellent addition to the array of electronic services, solutions and applications provided by MoPH to its employees as part of the ministry’s keenness to better serve employees and provide them with all the tools required for enhancing work quality and productivity.
Al Nuaimi also lauded the distinctive features included in the “Netwasal” Intranet to serve employees, providing a space for interaction and presenting constructive ideas and proposals that contribute to improving performance and enhancing job satisfaction.
Chair of the Supreme Healthcare Communications Committee Ali Abdullah Al Khater said, “The MoPH Intranet provides excellent services to employees and contributes to managing their practical needs efficiently, quickly and safely.”
Director of Public Relations and Communication Department Alyaa Hassan Al Kuwari said, “Netwasal” Intranet contributes to enhancing effective communication with employees, promoting to process efficient information exchange within the ministry, and supporting the use of modern digital tools in the work environment in a way that contributes to achieving MoPH objectives.
At the launch event, Acting head of the Customer Satisfaction and Electronic Services Section Salem Jaber Al Dahabib Al Marri highlighted the important electronic services and applications included in the “Netwasal” network, which are characterised by simplicity and ease of use. It Includes the Cooperation and Services Center that comprises the Center for Documents and Circulars issued by MoPH (procedures and policies); the Media Center, which includes announcements, alerts, press news and events; MoPH organisational structure, departments and sections; and electronic services such as vacations, salaries, e-mail, “My Idea” and “Volunteer with Us.”
