Indian advertisement firm Media Plus released the 14th edition of its Qatar Business Card Directory (QBCD) in Doha recently.
Shafeek Kabeer, the Founder and CEO of Qatar-based cloud computing firm Azym Technologies released the 14th edition by handing over the first copy to Sheela Philip, the Managing Director of the Doha Beauty Centre.
Publishing since 2007, QBCD is a useful and quick resource linking consumers with local products and services, said its Chief Editor and CEO of Media Plus Amanulla Vadakkangara said.
The directory features business cards of local businesses and entrepreneurs and facilitates interaction among one another to boost business at various levels, he added.
“We have been very particular to adding new attractions every year. We have made it a unique product, which has been publishing consecutively for the last 13 years with added attractions. The whole version of the directory is available online and the business cards are available in mobile application for free download.”
Branding any venture or product becomes more necessary when the business is facing problems and challenges, Vadakkangara said.
QBCD is an easy solution for effective branding, he added.
Radio Malayalam FM CEO Anvar Hussain, Acon Holdings Chairman Shukkur Kinalur, Parker Russell Chartered Accountants Managing Partner Shanavas Bava, VONE Global Transports Managing Director Abdul Gafoor and Qatar Tech Managing Director Jeby K John attended the directory launch.
Speaking on the occasion, Anvar Hussain observed that the business card directory, with its novel and scientific approach, was very attractive and user friendly.
General manager Sharafudheen Thangayathil, Production manager Afsal Kilayil, Marketing coordinator Muhamed Rafeeq, Siyahurahman and Jojin Mathew, coordinated the activities.
