Karnataka Sangha Qatar (KSQ) Management Committee (MC) representatives welcomed the Ambassador of India to Qatar HE Dr Deepak Mittal on the embassy premises in West Bay recently.
The ambassador met the KSQ MC team who briefed him about the activities being conducted by KSQ in Qatar, particularly blood donation camps, Kannada classes and other socio-cultural programmes, for the benefit of the people from Karnataka as well as the society of Qatar in general.
Ambassador Mittal expressed his pleasure in meeting with the team and congratulated the KSQ members for engaging people in community
activities. He spoke specifically about the Kannada classes and its importance in keeping regional languages alive for the future generations.
The ambassador thanked and encouraged KSQ tokeep their humanitarian work going.
