The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has said the entrance fee is only for the zoo in Al Khor Park. At present, there are no entry fees for other parks, the MME said. The country has more than 90 public parks, where the entry is free. On Sunday, Minister of Municipality and Environment issued Decision No 247 of 2020 determining the fees for parks services. As per the decision, the entry fee for Al Khor Park was QR15 for full day. The fee is QR10 for children under 10 years old and those with special needs for the full day. The entry fee during events and festivals has been fixed at QR50 for the whole day. The fee for feeding animals at the zoo is QR50. (TNN)
