The Embassy of Qatar in Pakistan on Thursday delivered medical aid from Qatar Charity (QC) to Pakistan, to support the country’s efforts to contain the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Ambassador of Qatar to Pakistan HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani handed over the medical aid to Executive Director of Pakistan Air Force Hospital in Islamabad Major-General Safdar Abbas. The ambassador expressed hope that the Qatari medical aid would help the Pakistani government’s efforts in overcoming the pandemic, noting that Qatar has been assisting all friendly countries in facing the pandemic.
Major-General Abbas thanked Qatar for its constant support to Pakistan and its support for the healthcare sector in facing the challenges of the pandemic.
A number of diplomats and members of Qatar’s military attache in Pakistan attended the event.
